Grilled Sardines with Dionysus Delicate Olive oilIngredients

  • 4 Whole sardines (scaled and gutted)
  • 1 medium lemon (sliced for cooking)
  • 1 medium lemon (juiced for marinating)
  • 1 garlic clove (crushed)
  • 8 sprigs Rosemary or thyme (2 per fish)
  • 1 Tbs Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Dionysus Delicate Olive oil

  1. Stuff Sardine belly cavity with 2 sprigs of rosemary or thyme and 3 slice of lemon…place in flat container
  2. In bowl mix lemon juice, garlic, salt and Delicate Olive Oil, pour over fish and marinate overnight.
  3. Grill on both sides for 4 minutes and also great on the BBQ.  Very nice with a green leafy salad, feta cheese and crusty bread.
